The National Billiard Football League had the perfect idea for the Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) by setting up a football themed booth for a fund raiser for youth at the 2011 APA Team Nationals. Hundreds of APA players did a double look as they passed by and participated in two fun and never before seen games in the pool/billiard industry.

When the the Executive Director for the Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) called Earl Munson, the NBFL founder and a co-partner, and asked if he would like to help with a fundraiser for the BEF and if he had any ideas, Mr. Munson said he might have few. The fundraiser would help the BEF with its scholarship program, junior nationals, school programs, and everyday BEF expenses that all non-profit organization have.

A football themed booth at the prestigious APA Nationals would have several hundred  teams and a few thousand players attending from all over North America. The idea was to attract players/donors to the booth who strolled by getting their attention by the football decor and the carnival barking challenge to anyone that could play few fun football related games. And if the donors were successful at the challenges then they would win lucky raffle tickets worth several thousand dollars in McDermott cue sticks, Aramith billiard balls, Delta racks, videos, and whole bunch more of neat billiard gifts.
